After the last image and the space theme, I just couldn't resist to try more. I read tens of tutorials how to make a space scene. I did get the planets very well (very proud of the big one) and I managed to work with stars but still have to practice with nebulas.

Anyway.. I wanted to use the inspiration from the curiosity to study new things and the perfect theme from the contest to create something different. Find some new way to get into the theme. Nature is such a wild subject, with so many ways to present it.

The first image I had was the gate and the vision came - a girl standing in her world, having a key to a different wolrd. To create the different world was easy - it was the high, supreme and pure nature. No human hand had touched it before. I knew what I wanted - a wonderland, a place I would like to go and never come back. I am very happy with the outcome and it was exactly what I wanted. Different color choice than usual, powerful and eye catching.

The second part was the killer. I cannot say I am completely happy with it. The image was almost ready for Monday and all week I have tried to make it work. Now I am just out of the time. So.. It ends here - the second world is pale and cold and empty (I tried to add there snow but it ended up looking like sand ) Most of the process, it was too empty. It has it's storm, it's rocks. The mystical world casts all her shadows to this world. It is nothing compared what you can see trough the gate.

And then there is she. Who? Why? I think she cannot have the answers herself. She stands there and she does have the key to open the gate and make a step from that pale stormy world to the calm and mystical unknown world. But I see doubts. Yes, it is all amazing what we see, but do you remember, grass is always greener on the other side.

And there she stands, with her golden key, looking trough the bars to her mystical land, her secret garden, a world beyond her imagination, on the other side of the wall. Is she ready to unlock her garden, open her secret and face the unknown?

Are we all little afraid of what we do not know?

Model is my sweet and lovely sister Liisa *l6visyda and the key is hers and she wanted to have long hair. I hope she is happy with those hair there
