I most say - the best song ever to inspire me. So wonderful lyrics, so wonderful performance. When *l6visyda gave it to me to listen I was amazed - it enchanted me on the first moment. I am happy I managed to create something as I have started like 3-4 works but finished none. I still haven't given up and I will see what comes out of them but this is here.

Special work for me. Because I wanted to use picture of the LARP I was in weekend. Sadly me and ~Amarillys-Silaqui got little misunderstanding and our camera was left in tent and none of us took no pictures but Triin luckily did and was so kind to let me use some of them. There might become one another work featuring her photo.

What is the story behind this work? There always is... and this story I just adore... I think that those lyrics maybe already gave the idea - it's illusions and dreams. I tried hard to make the background so dreamscape as I could. I most say I totally enjoyed making that space/sea part. I have never before tried space art but I most say - I fell in love. I definetly want to try again to make something in space. I have one idea, already The arch was superb - just the one I was looking.

The model was superb for my idea - I wanted someone who would look blind, veiled, hidden from this world. I wanted to surround her with illusions and dreams - mystic and magic. I think you cannot see it clearly but on her cup - there is the same sunset or sunrise that reflects on the sea - it means the planet and the bright sun - and some glitters.

The ground is cracked - another symbol - the world around her can be dreamy and colorful but it is build on broken heart, cracked dreams (I have had that theme already in one of my works) The arc - almost as a frame - symbols her borders - it's not only her blindness what imprisons her freely, as it has been her choice, but she has set herself a borders - there are lines that separate her and her dream (setting sun behind the planet).

And the tree - inspired by Two Trees in Tolkien's Silmarillion - tree of light. But in this case - it is only illusion - she sees it but does it exist? Does any of this exist or she only wants to see that?

And water.. I am not sure why I used water the way I did but I feel like finally I am making my own elements - things that are "my elements". From the summer when I started to make backgrounds for my stock I just haven't get over to use those waves in beach. They to not wave no where but I love them - they are unreal, abstract but still - they are mine and I adore it.

So? Is it real? Any of it? No... It is a dream - colorful and good dream but waking up from it will be painful. No, it is a illusion - vision of place where is peace, silence and freedom... And light...

It is my illusion... or at least part of it...
