Loreley was a beautiful young maiden who everyone loved but the man she loved was faithless and abandoned her. In despair she threw herself into the Rhine but she was transformed into nix and could from that time on be heard singing on a rock along the Rhine River. Her hypnotic music and beauty lured sailors to their death. So beautiful maiden driven into despair and abandoned by the one she loved and by faith left to sit in a rock in that river forever and drive others to witness her destiny...
