Question, when you say it broke, did you break it, or are your photos getting blurred purple lines through it, or something like that?
The A75 has a known sensor fault, and if that is indeed the case, take it to a canon dealer and it should be fixed under recall, even though it is out of warranty

If its a broken lens or screen though, yeh, get a new one
