This time there is no details, more than vice versa. I was working on the really big size and on portrait format but when I had finished, I loved the piece so much, that I cropped part of it and put it on the desktop... and everyone on my family thought this version is much better. I asked some people in DA too and they agree. Ok, they win - landscape format is the final version. But you can see the other version and give me your opinion on which you think is better.

The idea.. again - you have totally different image on your mind but it does not work out. I wanted to use couple stock - had quite clear idea what but was not able to find perfect stock.. ok.. not stock even close to what I imagines. So that idea was left and I was ready to go any stock and while spending quite much time browsing I came up with the model I used and when I saw that stock - water falling from the hands I knew - I had totally new idea. And when everything was almost all right it looked empty and then the magic on her hands came.. but still empty - Earth came and so "Old Ways" what was meant to be romantically fairies in the middle of waterfall came into little innocent "Earth Dream" And if you wander where the title came - all blame goes to Formula 1 and Honda team. They have "Earth Dreams" on the side of the car and as I was working on the finishing touches yesterday after watching qualifing.. I was till little in that.

So.. I feel this time I cannot say the deep and long story about the story as it changed so much turning making it but some of it survived - I wanted to little remind us that we all hold Earth on our hands. Our dreams are also Earth dreams - we are the ones who make the future of that planet and somehow it may look that we are so little and we cannot do nothing but that is not right. I wanted to show the other side - what if the world is so small that we can old it on our hands.. would we act like we do now? And maybe we think not enough of where we have came.. the nature has always been important part of harmony of life.. and I do not know - for me elves first associate nature.. living in piece and harmony with it. And that's why I portrayed her as an elf - the holder of the world, the protector, defeneder.

And no, it is not sad piece... It is a dream...
